Siebel Developer

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Analyze, design, develop, test, deploy and maintain key Siebel and integration components
  • Coordinate development tasks with related team members
  • Monitor component/module development progress against overall project schedule
  • Communicate with customers, vendors and internal teams
  • Perform software development and maintenance of complex, large scale, call center applications

  • Siebel Workflow experience
  • Experience integrating Siebel within a complete contact center environment (IVR, CTI, WFM)
  • General Development Skills (C, VB, C++, C#, JAVA) preferred
  • Excellent design, analytical and communication skills
  • Experience with formal software/project management methodologies like CMMI preferred
  • Experience with Siebel utilizing the Oracle RDMS preferred

EDUCATION & SPECIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent education/experience desired.
  • 5+ years software development experience
  • Minimum of 4 years of CRM experience with 2 years of experience with Siebel Contact Center development and configuration
  • Have worked on a minimum of 2 Siebel projects

Field Technician (Radio Packages) 

Contract Position

Installation Sites: US (lower 48 states) 

TYPICAL DUTIES

Fabrication, Installation and Testing of radio packages for U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) interior radio sites.  Installation of radio packages typically is 4-5 days per site.  Teams may assist in preparation of site packages before travel to scheduled FAA upgrade sites.  Once on site installation is typically 4-5 days or one site per week.  Deployment teams are typically out for 2-4 week periods before returning home station to prepare the next installation packages

  • Participate in an interdisciplinary integrated project team environment under the supervision of more senior engineers and leads.
  • Perform system requirements analysis.
  • Perform system design and/or analysis functions based on requirements.
  • Prepare and review system specifications, system design documents, and interface design documents.
  • Provide information to hardware and software engineers implementing the system.
  • Prepare and review test plans, procedures and results.
  • Identifying defects, resolving issues and verification.
  • Support the change management process as the system design evolves.

General Dynamics Information Technology Canada is looking for an outstanding systems engineer to be a member of the Joint Information and Intelligence Fusion Capability (JIIFC) Data Mediation Interfaces (DMI) Project Engineering Team. Successful candidates will report to the DMI Lead Systems Engineer to design, implement, test, deploy and support the Data Mediation Interfaces as part of the JIIFC System.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Researching and analyzing JIIFC source system documentation to characterize DMI external interfaces;
  • Supporting the DMI Verification and Validation Manager in the production of test plans, test procedures and test reports;
  • Developing procedures to use source systems for development and test of DMI components;
  • Supporting the design of DMI software components through systems engineering practices such as design for test;
  •  Participating in the integration of DMI software components into baselined systems;
